Show History
All delivery orders are now contact-free. You can leave a note with any special delivery instructions for the restaurant at the checkout.

We’ve added a handful of behind-the-scenes improvements to your app this month. And, like sweet BBQ sauce on your chicken wings, they'll simply make it better.
What's New in Version 32.0.0
You can now pick and choose the items you loved from past orders to build your ultimate personalised feast. Find your go-to grub on the new and improved Your favourites section. Tasty.
What's New in Version 31.11.0
We’ve had some performance enhancements (a bit like the app version of rocket fuel), so now we’re faster and better than ever.
What's New in Version 31.6.1
We’ve added a handful of behind-the-scenes improvements to your app this month. And, like sweet BBQ sauce on your chicken wings, they'll simply make it better.

Our restaurant menus have had a shake up too, so now it’s even easier to find your favourite dishes.
What's New in Version 31.1.0
We’ve given your app a dollop of design improvements, a serving of new features, and a sprinkle of bug fixes. Here’s a taste of the improvements:

• Ordering your food never looked so good – we’ve spruced up the order history page, order details, and the order it again tiles.
• Now you can see all your favourite cuisines on a fancy new carousel, complete with mouthwatering new pics.
• We’ve squashed a search bar bug and thawed out our splash screen and checkout freezing issues.
• New ways to find your favourites faster than ever
What's New in Version 30.8.0
A bit like swapping ketchup on your fries for mayo, we’ve made some pretty big changes. Here’s a look at what we’ve done:

• New homepage picture to show off our tasty dishes
• Some colour and background changes for an up-to-date look
• Removing the driver icon from the map when your food’s arrived
• Fixed a pesky bug to make sure you have an ordering experience that’s nice and smooth, just like chocolate. Mmmm.
What's New in Version 30.1.0
We’ve added a handful of behind-the-scenes improvements to your app this month. And, like sweet BBQ sauce on your chicken wings, they'll simply make it better.

Love Just Eat? Sweet! Then please write us a review in the App Store. And if there’s something you think we should tweak, let us know at ios-feedback@just-eat.com
What's New in Version 27.1
Gelato isn’t just Italian for ‘ice cream’. Done properly, it’s a different deal altogether. While ice cream is made with milk fat or cream, gelato uses regular milk, fewer egg yolks (if any) and is churned more slowly. That makes gelato softer, thicker and lower in fat, too. (So make ours a triple scoop, thanks.)

The pistachio chunks in this month’s release include a host of behind-the-scenes tweaks and improvements to make our app even more delicious.

Love Just Eat? Please write us a review in the App Store. If there’s something we could be doing better, please let us know at ios-feedback@just-eat.com
What's New in Version 26.9
Not all sushi needs chopsticks. Temaki, or hand roll, is a large cone-shaped piece of nori (the black seaweed sheet that wraps many types of sushi) with the sushi filling (or neta) spilling out the wide end. Best eaten fast before the nori falls apart (as if you needed a reason to hold back).

The nourishing neta in this month’s Just Eat temaki include the usual delicious updates and tasty improvements to make ordering the food you love as easy as possible.

What's New in Version 26.6.2
This month's slice of the Just Eat pie is lovingly filled with flavoursome tweaks and juicy improvements. All to make ordering food as easy as possible. As easy, you might say, as pie.

What's New in Version 26.5.1
There’s more to the shape of pancakes than the pan they’re cooked in. According to boffins, prehistoric pancakes were made circle-shaped in honour of the sun, which was worshipped like a god in those days. Even today, festivals and holidays around the world featuring pancakes happen in early spring – timed with the return of longer days and stronger sun.

Our offerings to the sun god in this release include:
- Our Apple Watch app, which is easier to read thanks to a new colour scheme and now enables you to call the restaurant from your watch if your order’s late
- A fix for a glitch that sometimes caused orders to show up twice in your order history
- A tweak to Apple Pay to stop it crashing when you checkout with the wrong phone number
- An updated status screen when you’ve placed an order so it’s easier to see where your food is
- A new, easier to use help screen
What's New in Version 26.4.1
Along with making it to Mexico, pasties also travelled with Cornish miners to Northern Michigan, USA, in the mid-1800s. Pasties became so popular they’re still considered a Yooper staple (from U.P., or Upper Peninsula, the part of Michigan that sticks out into Lake Superior).

Putting the crimp in the crust of this release is:
• Improved Apple Pay error messages, so if something’s not quite right we can tell you why and what to do next
• Updated looks for the iPhone X so you can order in full-screen glory

Love Just Eat? Please write us a review in the App Store. If there’s something we could be doing better, please let us know at ios-feedback@just-eat.com
What's New in Version 26.2
Fancy a dinosaur burger? Tastes like chicken. The feathered fowl is the closest living relative of Tyrannosaurus Rex and what could be better than munching on the king of the dinosaurs?

The latest Just Eat nuggets to be battered and fried include:

• Making sure everything in the app is shipshape for iOS 11

• Improving our error messages, particularly when an item isn't available for re-ordering or when you switch between collection and delivery orders (or vice versa)

• Our own delicious recipe of eleven herbs and spices fixes and tweaks

Love Just Eat? Please write us a review in the App Store. If there’s something we could be doing better, please let us know at ios-feedback@just-eat.com
What's New in Version 26.0
Few foods travel quite so well as the Cornish Pasty. When Cornish miners emigrated to Mexico in the 19th century after the collapse of the tin mining industry at home, they took their filled pastry parcels with them. The Mexican locals took the pasty to heart (who can blame them) and started making their own, using locally available ingredients including chillies and mole sauce. The Mexican ‘paste’ has remained popular ever since – so much so that the world’s very first museum dedicated to the Cornish pasty opened in Mexico in 2012.

The beef, swede and potato filling this version of Just Eat include:

• A pinch of fixes and tweaks to make the app run even more smoothly than before
• Juicy improvements behind the scenes to improve performance
• Succulent new copy to help you get out of any pickle you might find yourself in

Love Just Eat? Please write us a review in the App Store. If there’s something we could be doing better, please let us know at ios-feedback@just-eat.com
What's New in Version 25.4
Both the hamburger and frankfurter are named for the German cities in which they originated, some time between 1750 and 1900 depending on who you ask (there’s an awful lot of argument about the origins of the ‘burger, in particular). Serving the meaty morsels between two pieces of bread, though, was a later idea dreamed up by restaurants catering to the increasing number of factory workers in early 20th century America. The trend for open kitchens where you can see the chefs at work began shortly after, as restaurants strived to show customers just how clean their premises were.

In the same spirit of openness, here’s what our developers and product people have added to the Just Eat app in this update:

• Making it clearer that restaurants which are open right now for collection orders, but don’t offer delivery until later on, will still take delivery pre-orders

• Enabling you to get in touch with customer care through Live Chat or our shiny new chatbot straight from the order status page when you’ve just placed an order

• Improved tracking of your order and its status so you always know where your food is

Love Just Eat? Please write us a review in the App Store, it really does make a difference. If there’s something we could be doing better, tell us: ios-feedback@just-eat.com
What's New in Version 25.3

• New rating descriptors to help you rate and review your order more accurately. Each star rating has been given a description to help you decide, from 1 star (abysmal) to 6 stars (outstanding), so please leave a review of your order and help others find a great takeaway.

• Your order subtotal is now displayed as you pick items from the menu, instead of the total. Excluding the delivery and card fees from your running total should make it easier for you to see how close you are to reaching a restaurant’s minimum spend amount when ordering for delivery.

• Fixed a problem that caused the app to crash when you’re following a delivery driver on the map. If you order from a restaurant that supports order tracking, tap on Track your order to follow the delivery driver with your order on a map.

• Sorted out a problem that caused the wrong restaurant opening time to be shown when you place a pre-order.

• A generous handful of other fixes and tweaks that, like fried onions on a hotdog, make the Just Eat app even better.

What's New in Version 24.3
Historians have traced the development of flatbread back to the year 30,000BC. We humans have been adding fillings and toppings ever since. The ‘pizza’ update (flatbread version 2316.4) is a relatively recent release, courtesy of some clever Neapolitans who in the 16th century invented what we’re familiar with today.

The ham and pineapple being added to the Just Eat pizza this update include:
- A fix for a bug that caused a small number of people to have the Just Eat app crash after their order had been placed.
- A fix for another bug that caused the app to crash when people zoomed out of the map in the restaurant list view.
- The Just Eat customer support chatbot, who is on hand 24/7 to help when things don’t go quite as well as we’d like. Find it on the Help page by selecting Settings and then Help. Choose the issue you’d like assistance with and then select Chat with our bot.
- Making sure that information about allergies and dietary requirements is easy to find, whether you’re browsing a menu or are paying at the checkout.
- A few other tweaks which, like a handful of chopped fresh basil, make a small but mouth-watering difference.

What's New in Version 23.1
Fanfare please… We’re proud to unveil a completely new look and feel to the Just Eat app. The fresh new colour palette and logo are just the tip of the iceberg, because we’ve been working hard to make it even easier to find the best local restaurants and then order the food you love faster than ever before. And this is just the first step – there’s plenty more where that came from.

We've made it even easier to check what's happening with your order as we'll drop you straight into the action when the app loads and display your order details. From here you'll see your estimated delivery time and status of your order, including the 'On its way' update (when provided by the restaurant). That way you'll know when your food is on the move, even if you missed the notification.

We've also applied a few changes and fixes to keep everything running smoothly.
What's New in Version 18.1
If you're someone who likes to use American Express® to build up your rewards, you'll be happy to hear that JUST EAT is now supporting American Express Cards.

So your burger, Chinese or pizza order can now help you get a little bit closer to a special treat.

Fixed a bug that was causing users upgrading to 16.0 to be logged out.
What's New in Version 16.0
We've added a funky widget for the Notification Center!
If you add it, you can quickly check the status of your current order.
You can even reorder straight from there with no hassle!

Give it a try!
What's New in Version 15.1
Would you like to get updates on the status of your order after it’s been accepted?

This feature is being tested by some of our restaurants, so look out for the new “on it’s way” tag in the restaurant search list and give it a try.

Merry Christmas from the JUST EAT team. If you get bored of leftover turkey you know where to come.
What's New in Version 14.2
General bug fixes and improvements.
What's New in Version 14.0
Do you have to edit your address every time you order? We've fixed that. With the new Smart Address picker we'll select the most appropriate previously used address so you'll no longer be reminded of that dodgy little flat you lived in years ago. Hurray!

Ever wanted to filter the restaurant list by more than one cuisine type? We've fixed that too. You can now personalise the search results however you want. Mind blowing!

We've also:
- Slimmed down the checkout flow to get your order processed quicker
- Made a few fixes and updates for iOS9
- Resolved a nasty issue that was plaguing some iPhone 4 users - sorry guys
- Done the usual tweaking behind the scenes to keep things working nicely

As always we'd love to hear your feedback so please leave us a review or fill in the feedback form in the app if you have anything you'd like to tell us.

What's New in Version 10.0
This release is like staying in on a Friday night. It's not exciting but it's good for you.

Firstly, apologies to the Apple Watch evangelists out there. The first version had a couple of problems but we've been beavering away since the launch to put things right for you. Please give it another try and look out for more watch updates coming soon. #miniwristpump

Secondly, you now have a direct line to the people that matter at JUST EAT central. There is a new button tucked away in the Settings area that lets you send app feedback to the product team. So go ahead, let us know what's missing from your app adventure and we'll make it happen*

Thirdly, we've done the usual rounds of bug squishing. Yay.

Ok hold your horses, we can't really grant all your wishes. But if squillions of people are clamouring for the same thing it will be shooting up the list before you can say #minifistpump

What's New in Version 8.0
This update contains security fixes and is recommend for all users.

Hot on the heels of re-order and push notifications (you're loving them right?) we have another nifty addition to help you pick the best restaurant for your takeaway order.

Introducing.... Rate your order!

No longer is reviewing a meal the sole domain of our website users, you too can now share your experience with the world (well, the UK anyway).

Look out for the brand spanking new button on your previous orders enabling you to wax lyrical about your favourite restaurant and give a shout out to that epic curry you had last week. They'll be useful reminders for your next order as well as helping your local community find delicious grub. Go spread the love.

Despite our brilliance a few bugs slipped through the net last time - they're fiddly little critters. So we've also cleaned up a bunch of those to keep things running smoothly in the background.

If you enjoy using the JUST EAT app please take a moment to rate it and leave a review. We love to read your feedback, and the most inspiring/funny comments will make it onto our office wall of fame.
What's New in Version 7.0
You're going to like this one.

We've added a couple of much sought after new features that will take your JUST EAT experience to the next level. Our colleagues have been testing them out for a couple of weeks now and we've never seen such positivity. Brace yourselves.

1) Push notifications. No constant harassment, just a simple message to confirm your order has been accepted and put your mind at rest. A quick tap and you'll see the delivery/collection estimate along with a reminder of the yummy food that is on the way.

2) Re-order. We know that many of you like to order the same foods from the same couple of restaurants pretty regularly. Now you can just open your order history page and tap a button to refill your basket with an old favourite for rapid ordering. Or feel free to do a bit of editing if you fancy some variety. It's the spice of life don't you know.

On top of those biggies there is the usual mixture of bug fixing and polish to keep everything running smoothly.

We’ve improved the checkout flow to show the status of your order. Which brings us neatly to the biggest change.. a list of your JUST EAT orders.

The new Orders tab is the home for old & new orders alike. Just think of the takeaway memories you can relive... That tikka masala with an extra naan from the lovely Indian up the road. That pizza with the extra cheese that you finished off for breakfast. That time you woke up but couldn’t remember where you were, but worked it out from a kebab order. We’ve all been there.

Speaking of iPad, the app now fully supports portrait as well as landscape, with the ability to hide or show the basket as you prefer. The app now fits nicely onto the lovely big new iPhones. Mmm.. big and shiny.

Aside from all that, there are many, many, many small tweaks and improvements to make the app you love even more love-worthy.

Expect more to come soon. The team are hard at work on full login and reorder, amongst over things. We know you’ve wanted those for a while, and your patience is truly appreciated. You rock!

Improved the app in handling poor connectivity, as well general bug fixes.

Life is full of little decisions. Take a shortcut or enjoy the scenic route? Wear sensible black or bright flowery summer shorts to work? Do the tidying up or watch another episode of that awesome box set you didn’t mean to start watching but now are six seasons in and it's just getting better and better - don’t tell me any spoilers!? Decisions, decisions, decisions! So decide-y. Grr.

So when food inspiration comes a knockin’ and you know just what you want to eat for dinner it’s the greatest feeling. That certain curry. A precise pizza. Those specific sushi**. 'How?', you cry, ‘How do I order that exact dish from a restaurant on the JUST EAT app?’

We hear your cries for food from the misty mountain top upon which we meditate on all things takeaway. Omm.. Well, it’s a an office and the meditation is more sleeping off too much lunch but we do listen and with a wave of our magical app development team we bring you - in menu search! Just choose the restaurant you want, tap the search bar at the top of the menu and type the name of the food this restaurant serves that you desire and it will appear. Bam! Happy eating ahead for the #win!

* Apparently, Sushi is the plural of sushi. How cool is that? Way cool. You can sound like you’re not being greedy ordering sushi when in fact it’s a lot of sushi. Win! For some reason this is not as interesting with sheep, go figure. **

** Next time we promise to do less footnotes. ***

*** Probably. And as a bonus for those of you who read this far we’ll let you in on a little secret.. if you type a 'greater than' (> 5) or ‘less than’ (< 5) in the in-menu search followed by a number then we only show you menu items that cost more or less than that amount. Wowsers! Plus you can combine this with food names. Ooo...

And as a bonus for those of you who read this far we’ll let you in on a little secret.. if you type a 'greater than' (>) or ‘less than’ (<) in the in-menu search followed by a number then we only show you menu items that cost more or less than that amount. Wowsers! Plus you can combine this with food names. Ooo...
What's New in Version 1.9.2
Space is big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big space is. I mean you may think it’s a long way down the road to your local takeaway, but that’s just peanuts to space.

Inspired by these paraphrased words from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, we’ve added takeaway distance to the app. Sometimes you just want to know how far away that lovely takeaway is. We get it. Really we do.

Just tell us your full postcode - eg, SE1 4NU - and we’ll tell you how far each of your local takeaways is from there as the car drives. We could have done it as the crow flies, but crows sounded really hard to train and we had a deadline. Of course whether you choose to have your food delivered or collect it in person by is up to you.

Now distance is pretty awesome, but not as pretty as seeing takeaways on a map. So we added that as well. Bam! Zoom around to see where your local hero takeaway is, and simply tap on it to go straight to the menu to order.

Just don’t forget your towel.. and your takeaway!
