What's New in Version 7.1.1
Good day, folks! Today’s update to 1Password brings along a few new features and a couple very important fixes. Let’s dive in, shall we?

(Editor's note, this is a republication of 1Password 7.1, with Markdown support enabled. Previously it was only enabled for the 1Password development and test environment).

## Rich Text in Secure Notes Using Markdown

When we introduced 1Password 7 for Mac back in May we debuted a whole new way to look at your secure notes. Today, we’re happy to announce that 1Password for iOS has joined the party. You can now create gorgeous looking secure notes complete with headers, bold and italic text, lists, tappable links, and more.

## 1Password Stickers

If you follow us on social media or keep up to date with our blog (and why wouldn’t you?) you know that our art department is incredibly talented. We are always looking for new ways to let them stretch their creative muscles. When they came to us with a collection of stickers and asked to create a sticker app, there was no way we could refuse. You’ll find a whole collection of stickers in Messages, we hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

## Fixes, Fixes, Everywhere

Two of the most prevalent bugs we’ve seen reported have also been fixed in this update. Searching no longer returns broken or incorrect results, and creating a new item no longer causes 1Password to become unresponsive. We had some fantastic help from many of you tracking these bugs down; thank you so much.

## New

- Markdown support in Secure Notes! {OPM-1099}
- 1Password now generates specific icons for each item when an icon doesn't exist. {OPI-4366}
- 1Password Stickers! Check out our stickers in Messages app.

## Improved

- Updated the text throughout the app to be more consistent.
- Improved rendering of template icons in list and detail views.

## Fixed

- Corrected an issue where search could become completely hosed when the items in a vault were updated while search was taking place (for instance, when syncing). {apple-issues#62}
- Fixed an issue where adding a Related Item would not refresh the item detail view. {apple-issues#1075}
- Fixed an issue that allowed users without the proper permission to move an item to the trash. {apple-issue#1330}
- Corrected a problem where 1Password would become unresponsive after adding a new item.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when decrypting an item's icon. {apple-issues#1567}
- Fixed a crash that could occur when viewing Secure Notes. {apple-issues#1724}
- Fixed a crash that could occur during item saving. {apple-issues#1734}

What's New in Version 7.0.5
Good day, everyone! It's been a remarkably cold few weeks here in the northeast, which has kept us all huddled around our computers to stay warm. It's also been a time to learn fun new things, like the fact that when it's -40 degrees Fahrenheit, it's also -40 degrees Celsius!

To get back into the swing of things in the new year we're bringing you a handful of important fixes - many of them brought to our attention by you, dear customer. Until next time!

What's New in Version 7.0
# 1Password 7 for iOS: Efficiency Abounds

Welcome one and all to the greatest version of 1Password for iOS we have ever shipped. After many months of work refining new features, polishing existing ones, and generally putting everyone's favorite password manager under the microscope, we are incredibly excited to share it with you.

## TL;DR

• Beautifully at home on iPhone X with Face ID.
• Speedy access to your recently used items on our reinvented Favorites screen.
• Quick Copy, a new, faster way to get information from 1Password into the places you need it.
• Keyboard shortcuts for you pros on iPad.
• 33% performance increase across the board.

## The Latest and Greatest, At Home on the Latest and Greatest

When iPhone X was announced earlier this year we knew we wanted to be there, as always, on day one. Face ID is an absolute game-changer for productivity and efficiency. Simply tap to launch 1Password and Face ID instantly recognizes your face and unlocks. No waiting, no delays; just instant, secure access to your private information.

## All About The Speed

When we started planning 1Password 7 we had one overarching goal in mind: take the ways people use 1Password today and make those workflows sing. The first place we did so was with our new Quick Copy feature. One of the most common uses for 1Password is to copy and paste your username and password into another app when you need to log in. With Quick Copy, 1Password knows when you've copied your username so that on your next trip back from pasting that username it puts your password on the clipboard for you automatically. If you're using 1Password for your two-factor verification codes it will copy that for you on the next return as well.

## Unlocking the Power Of Your Keyboard

For some of us, we're never more productive than when our hands stay locked on the keyboard. Taking a cue from our big sibling on macOS, we've now brought over a bevy of beautiful keyboard shortcuts to 1Password for iOS. Searching, switching tabs, and open and filling items in the browser can now be done with the stroke of a key.

## Much, Much More

Yes, we've brought some big ticket changes to 1Password, but many of the little things add up as well. 1Password now unlocks 33% faster and has seen a 400% increase in stability throughout. You can now select and delete multiple items at a time. Our password generator is smoother, more responsive, and easier to use. All in all these little things combine to become an update to 1Password that we're very, very proud of.

What's New in Version 6.9
Happy iOS 11 Day, everyone! Today we are pleased to bring you 1Password 6.9: The iOS 11 Edition. With today's update 1Password is ready and raring to go on the latest and greatest that Apple has to offer. Now before we go much farther I want to set your mind at ease: you are not going to find a bunch of "this one goes to 11" puns and references in the release notes below. We could have, and we considered it, but we didn't. You're welcome. :)

What we did do instead was bring an incredible feature from iOS 11 on iPad and made it right at home in 1Password. Starting today you can now drag and drop information between apps on iPad. Drag and drop feels incredibly natural on iPad in iOS 11 and we're so excited to have it working in everyone's favorite password manager.

# TL;DR

• Built for iOS 11.
• You can now drag usernames, passwords, and more out of 1Password on your iPad running iOS 11.
• Add information from Contacts easily by dragging and dropping into 1Password.
• Drag text into your items while editing them.

# Multitasking With 1Password Has Never Been So Great

Never before has it felt so natural to get the information you want out of 1Password and into any app where you need it. Simply pull up 1Password side-by-side with another app, find the Login for that app in 1Password, and then drag and drop your username and password right into the login fields. And it's not just usernames and passwords, either. You can drag and drop any field from any item. It's simple and it's simply amazing.

# Contacts, Meet Identities

One of the most powerful features of 1Password is its ability to fill your name and mailing address into an web page (when you're shopping online, for instance). With drag and drop it's never been easier to get your personal information into 1Password. Just drag your contact card from Contacts and drop it into 1Password. All of your information will be imported into a shiny new 1Password Identity, ready to be filled into your browser at a moment's notice.

# Add Any Information From Anywhere

Have a crucial piece of information you want to store in 1Password? Start editing an item, drag that info in, and drop it. Easy peasy!

What's New in Version 6.8
# 1Password 6.8: The Picnic Edition

Get your picnic blanket ready, because we have prepared a basket full of delicious new treats just for you in our latest release! We hope you're having a delightful, secure, and scrumptious summer!

## TL;DR

• One-time passwords now copy themselves to the clipboard automatically whenever you fill an item that has a one-time password.
• The ability to create vaults has arrived for 1Password.com accounts!
• Item creation and modification dates now appear in the item details.
• Korean is back!

## How about some extra sprinkles for that ice cream cone?

We can’t think of anything better to beat the heat than a nice cold ice-cream in the sunshine … with extra sprinkles, of course. We’d like to think of your one-time passwords as the sprinkles that complete your Login items. Now 1Password automatically copies those one-time passwords when you fill an item with the 1Password Extension, saving you a step and a giving you more time to enjoy that ice cream. Yummy!

## You can never have too many baskets of goodies!

Everyone needs a safe place to store the pie so that no one gets into it before dessert. Now you can create new vaults in your 1Password.com account on the fly and off the cuff right within 1Password itself. No more storing the cherry pie with the cheese, or the cupcakes with the croissants. No matter what your organizational structure - creating new vaults on the go has never been so easy!

## You’ll always know how fresh your items are.

A great sandwich is a staple at every picnic, but a truly great sandwich is only as good as the ingredients. The same can be said for your security and an aging password is not a fresh part of your ecosystem. With this new update, you'll always know how fresh your items are by checking the dates your items were created and edited are right there at the bottom of the item details.

## Korean Language is back! Korean BBQ, anyone?

What's New in Version 6.7.1
Thanks to our awesome customers we discovered an edge case in 6.7 where our update to the new version of Dropbox would fail. This is now fixed, thanks to everyone who reached out!

## 1Password 6.7: The Renovation Continues

After our release of "1Password for Mac 6.7: The Renovation Edition", our renovation theme continues with today’s update to 1Password for iOS! Much of the work in today's update was focused on internal stability and improvements; a deep dive into the internals of the app to shore up its foundation.

One of our biggest changes revolves around Dropbox sync. The fine folks at Dropbox are completing a year-long project to replace their application programming interface - the thing that allows 1Password to talk to Dropbox - in favor of a brand new one. We've been working closely with them to ensure that when they turn out the lights on the old API next month 1Password will roll on as if nothing has changed.

Beyond the under-the-hood improvements we’ve added one particularly exciting feature for our 1Password.com account holders. The next time you set up 1Password on a new device you will be able to breeze right through setup with nothing but your Master Password. It’s an awesome and incredibly speedy way to set up 1Password; we hope you love it as much as we do!

If you need us you can find us at @1Password on Twitter, at facebook.com/1Password, or support.1password.com.

What's New in Version 6.4
= 1Password 6.4: The 1-Up Edition =

== TL;DR ==
- Touch ID can now be used immediately after rebooting your device.
- Importing from 1Password 3 is MUCH improved.
- Improvements to using 1Password with only a 1Password account.
- A fancy new 1Password account sign-in screen.
- Many, many more improvements.

== Press Start ==
While all of us here at AgileBits are geeks, a good number are in that elite category of geek: gamers. What better way to show our love for digital interactive entertainment than with some gaming-themed released notes. Enjoy!

== Leveled-Up Fingerprint Skills ==
You told us that having to enter your Master Password after a device reboot felt like getting all your powers stripped away right before the big boss fight at the end of the game. In version 6.4, after restarting your device, you will see a Touch ID button on the lock screen; tap it to immediately enable Touch ID. If you enjoyed the way things used to work, check out our new advanced security settings in Settings > Advanced > Security to tailor it to your own tastes.

== Your Save Carries Over ==
Are you a big fan of the classics? If you’re still rocking it retro-style with 1Password 3, we have some good news: your save file from 1Password 3 carries over to 1Password 6 so you can jump right into all that the latest gen has to offer!

With the arrival of iOS 9 we discovered that many of our customers are still using 1Password 3 (thanks to all the crash reports you sent us)! We really wanted you to be able to use 1Password 6, but the path from version 3 was fraught with peril. It was like a series of fetch quests where the NPC just keeps asking you for more and more obscure items to collect.

We’ve improved this process _significantly_ in version 6.4. Now it’s more in line with some epic armor crafting where you have all the materials at your disposal. If you’ve previously tried to import your 1Password 3 information into 1Password 6 and failed, please try again. We think you’ll be pleased.

== Play With Your Family, Play With Your Team ==
If you use 1Password exclusively with a 1Password account (Families or Teams), we have a nice little improvement for you in this version: Setting up 1Password for the first time with a 1Password account no longer creates an empty “Primary” vault. You will only see your account vaults.

While the developers were busy tinkering with the guts to eliminate that Primary vault, our designers were busy grinding to get their level up. When they dinged level 6.4, they used their new skill points to unlock this awesome piece of gear: a brand new sign-in screen for your 1Password accounts. Just tap Settings > 1Password Accounts to get started.

== Racing to the Finish, No Blue Shells In Sight ==

=== New ===
- Added the ability to unlock 1Password with the new Master Password changed on another device when using 1Password for Teams or Families.

=== Improved ===
- Smarter credit card and identity filling.
- Updated app translations from our amazing contributors on Crowdin
- When syncing an additional vault from Dropbox the vault name can be modified.
- The "Done" button in the extension has been renamed to "Cancel" because it misled users to think it would unlock instead of dismiss.

=== Fixed ===
- Fixed an issue where 1Password would generate invalid one-time passwords if the secret contained an "=".
- Corrected an instance where restoring the Pro features in-app purchase might not succeed.
- Fixed an issue where the item detail view was still showing the item after trashing it on another device.

1Password never prompts you for a review because we value your workflow too much to interrupt it. If you feel generous or have a couple of minutes between gaming sessions, please leave a review. It makes a huge difference to us. Thank you in advance!

What's New in Version 6.3.1
We're incredibly happy to hear you're enjoying the ability to launch 1Password to your favorite vault! Your continued feedback has helped us make 1Password the versatile and helpful app it is today. Thank you! Some of you let us know you were having trouble syncing to Dropbox during the initial setup process. This update should fix that issue. Thanks again, and as always, stay secure!

= What's new in 1Password 6.3: The Time-Saving Edition =

Are you ready for the clocks to spring forward once again? It’ll be darker in the morning, but more light at night means more time for getting things done after work! Whether you’re looking forward to the time change or shaking your fist at it, we think you’ll be pleased with the latest release of 1Password for iOS before Daylight Savings Time strikes.

== Save time by picking which vault is shown when you launch the app ==
It might take a bit of work to adjust to the time change, but it’s easy for 1Password to adjust to your preferences! If you always want to see the same vault (or All Vaults) when you launch the app, head into Settings > Vaults > Always Open To and choose your favorite vault.

== Save even more time with faster (and better) Spotlight search ==
If you’re a Spotlight searcher, you’ll love our improvements to make it faster to find what you’re looking for. We also fixed some issues with accented characters, so if you’ve had some trouble when using more than the standard 26 english letters give it another try!

== Do more with improved VoiceOver support ==
We’ve expanded VoiceOver support to cover some of our newer UI elements, like the vault picker button and the QR codes used for 1Password for Families and Teams. Give it a listen!

We love hearing from you! Get in touch with us at discussions.agilebits.com, @1Password on Twitter, and facebook.com/1Password and tell us about how you’re going to spend your extra hour of daylight at night!
What's New in Version 6.2.2
= The Preschooler Edition =

Normally we don't title our bug fix releases but in this case we decided to make a small exception for a big change: 1Password is now rated 4+! Since we've shed our 17+ rating you can safely and happily start teaching your young ones how to generate strong, unique passwords for their Minecraft server logins and what have you.

We love hearing from you! Get in touch with us at discussions.agilebits.com, @1Password on Twitter, and facebook.com/1Password

== NEW ==
- 1Password is now rated 4+ by the App Store and can be installed on devices whose parental restrictions block certain age ratings. This change was made possible by recent improvements to our built-in web browser so that it respects your device's parental controls.

== Fixed ==
- Fixed an issue where secondary vaults were locked after unlocking 1Password with the Master Password. {OPI-3343}
- Fixed a crash that could occur after deleting the last folder in a list. {OPI-3358}
- The app would sometimes hang when syncing with Dropbox. We convinced it that user interaction was something that should always be possible. {OPI-3367}
- We corrected a problem where 1Password wasn't showing Logins on certain site variations in 1Browser and the App Extension. For instance, it would show on amazon.com, but not amazon.co.uk.
- Vault name changes in 1Password for Teams are now properly recognized in the 1Password app. {OPB-788}

= What was new in 1Password 6.2: The Resolution Edition =

- Improvements to search, including the added ability to find items from the Favorites and Organize tabs.
- Find out if any known security vulnerabilities might affect your accounts using Watchtower.
- Copy and move items from vault to vault.
- 3D Touch Quick Actions are available for compatible devices! Initiate search, view your favorites, or add an item from your iPhone 6S or 6S Plus home screen.
- Peek, Pop, and preview items in 1Password.

We value your workflow too much to prompt you for a review. If you feel generous or have a couple of minutes, please take some time to leave a rating and review on the App Store. It makes a huge difference to us. Thank you so very much.
What's New in Version 6.2.1
Good morrow yon wonderful 1Password customers! We have really been enjoying the fantastic feedback you’ve been leaving for 1Password 6.2; it’s great to see that you love it as much as we do. We also appreciate the bug reports you’ve been sending in via our support forums. We grabbed a few of the higher profile issues you have reported and are happy to present 1Password 6.2.1. Cheers!

== Fixed ==
- We found some instances where swiping to go back wasn’t working properly and corrected them. {OPI-3332}
- We discovered a case where changing the Master Password of one vault could result in the Master Password being changed on a different vault. We have corrected this error. {OPI-3323}
- Folders now sync properly when using AgileKeychain vaults. {OPI-3299}
- While in All Vaults we discovered some vaults didn't sync after unlocking and we've addressed this. {OPI-3325}

= What’s new in 1Password 6.2: The Resolution Edition =

Welcome to the new year! The holiday season is behind us and now it’s time to examine our priorities and set goals. At the top of our list: continue to make improvements to 1Password so it can always be a simple, reliable, fun way to help you stay secure. 1Password 6.2 for iOS is chock full of mini-resolutions to help us reach that goal.

== TL;DR ==

== We resolve to find what you need, fast ==
Now you can search all of your items from the Favorites, Categories, or Organize tabs. If speed is most important to you, you can search only item names; if thoroughness is your cup of tea, you can search items in their entirety. We've also made tweaks to speed, added a clear button, improved sorting order, and made other enhancements to our search capabilities.

== We resolve to keep you informed ==
Watchtower is here! This optional service has been in our Mac app for quite a while, and we're thrilled to bring it to iOS. Watchtower monitors the latest security vulnerabilities from around the web and alerts you when your own accounts might need attention. To start using Watchtower, go to Settings > Security and tap the switch. If an item has a potential vulnerability, you'll see it in the item's details view.

== We resolve to help you stay organized ==
If you use 1Password for Teams or have more than one vault, you'll be pleased to hear that it's now easy to copy or move items from one vault to another. Just view the item's details, then tap "Move and Copy".

== We resolve to help you Peek at life's details ==
If you have an iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus, these features are for you! If you want to quickly bring up search, view your favorites, or add a new item, 3D Touch the 1Password icon on your home screen and select the Quick Action you want to perform. When you're in 1Password, find the item you're looking for and press lightly on it to Peek at its details. When you want to see the full details view, press deeper to Pop into it. Want to copy the contents of certain fields, paste, or open an item in 1Browser? Press lightly on the item, then swipe up!

We value your workflow too much to prompt you for a review. If you feel generous or have a couple of minutes, please take some time to leave a rating and review on the App Store. It makes a huge difference to us. Thank you so very much.

What's New in Version 6.1.2
Hello again, true believers! As we continue our journey towards 1Password 6.2 we wanted to take a small detour and push out version 6.1.2 to address some of the larger pain points you've made us aware of via the forums. Thanks again, and as always, stay smart, stay shiny, and stay secure.

TL;DR
- With this update 1Password for iOS now supports the new 1Password for Teams encryption algorithm.
- This version contains a potential fix for the slow launch/slow unlock issues some of you have been seeing.
- The Demo vault is no longer included in All Vaults (unless you explicitly tell it to be).
- The tab bar icons for Favorites, Categories, Organize, and Settings have all had their constrast boosted to be easier on the eyes.

== What’s New in 1Password 6.1, The Unity Edition ==

It’s time to let you in on a secret. For months, everyone at AgileBits has been hard at work on an incredible new addition to the 1Password family: 1Password for Teams. With 1Password for Teams, everyone gets the simple, convenient security of 1Password, and you get the tools you need to control and manage access to your most important information. Visit teams.1password.com to learn more about our awesome new product.

Not only have we baked 1Password for Teams right into the very core of 1Password for iOS, we’ve also added features that bring some new shiny to the app you’ve come to love and trust! 1Password 6.1 gives you the ability to view all of your items across vaults and introduces support for 1Password for Teams. Keeping everything and everyone together has never been so easy!

== TL;DR ==
- An "All Vaults" view so you can get to any of your items, no matter which vault they’re in.
- Support for 1Password for Teams accounts.
- Little improvements here and there to show you just how much we care.

== All Vaults ==
When you have more than one vault, it can be really easy to forget where you’ve saved what, which can make it a bit complicated to find the item you're looking for. Now, you can view and search all of your items in all of your vaults by using All Vaults. But what if the whole reason you created a separate vault was to keep its items out of your way? No problem! If you don't want to include absolutely everything, go to Settings > Vaults > All Vaults and switch off the vaults you don't want to include. And would you look at how pretty that new All Vaults icon is?! I feel like a unicorn just looking at it.

== 1Password for Teams ==
If you've already scored a new 1Password for Teams account, you'll need a way to view those vaults on your pocket computers! To add a new account or manage an existing one, go to Settings > 1Password for Teams. Welcome and enjoy!

== A Care Package, from Us to You ==
From new and improved translations to better performance for humungo vaults, we sweat the details so you don't have to!

Thanks again, and as always, stay smart, stay shiny, and stay secure.

TL;DR
- Fixed an issue where 1Password would crash immediately after unlock.

What's New in Version 6.0.2
Greetings and salutations! The team has been hard at work on the next feature release of 1Password, and while we are still a few pumpkin spice lattes away from letting it see the light of day, we've received some great feedback from you that we wanted to address straight away.

We made some changes in this release that should alleviate this problem, but just in case these fixes have not solved things for you, we'd love your help in gathering some more information about the problem.

== Improved ==
- Editing a secure note is now done in a dedicated full-screen view.
- We made some security improvements when filling details into 1Browser and Safari.

== Fixed ==

- Fixed a crash that could occur when editing an item after removing a field.

What's New in Version 6.0.1
Thank you to all of our incredible customers for the feedback we received about 1Password 6.0. You're the reason we get to show up to work and do what we love, and we never forget that. Shortly after 6.0 went live we noticed a few issues needing fixing sooner rather than later, so we are happy to present 1Password 6.0.1.

- Improved iCloud compatibility for iOS 9.
- Adding a vault with fewer categories than the current vault caused the app to crash. This is no longer the case.
- Corrected the janky tab bar items that would appear in other locales or on devices that had the font size bumped up.
- Fixed an issue that could cause items in the trash to appear in Spotlight search results.
- Improved the Change Password capability in the App Extension API.
- Security improvements in web view filling for 1Browser and the 1Password Extension.

What's New in 6.0

== Extreme makeover edition ==

Ah, autumn. The AgileBits team is ready for cooler weather, colorful leaves, and even the pumpkin explosion. While we enjoyed our summer full of cookouts and splashing in the pool, it wasn’t all play. We’ve been busy putting the finishing touches on something amazing; just in time for iOS 9 we are excited to introduce 1Password 6.0! We knocked down walls, ripped out cabinets, and sweated the details of this beautiful new release.

== New look ==
Our designers painstakingly sorted through fabric samples and paint chips to help make 1Password feel new, yet comfortable and homey. Don’t worry, everything’s exactly where you left it! While you’re looking around at our revamped style, check out how sleek 1Browser is now. We hope you like what we’ve done with the place.

== Spotlight search ==
Many of us rely on Spotlight to help us find apps, websites, emails, and more. Now you can use Spotlight to find items in your 1Password vault! You’ll need to switch on the feature in Settings > General > Enable Spotlight Search. From then on, when you need to find your Amazon login you can search Spotlight, then tap to see the item’s details in 1Password. If only Spotlight could be wired into your house so you'd never lose your keys again.

== iPad and iPhone 6 Plus optimized ==
Using an iPad and need to get to your vault quickly? Use Split View and Slide Over on supported devices to keep 1Password close at hand. We’re really excited to use this alongside our favorite apps on iPad Pro!

On an iPhone 6 Plus? Now you can take advantage of landscape mode. We wish our real-world home improvement projects ended with such flexibility.

== Diceware support ==
While we were redecorating, we decided to install a diceware generator so you can use real words for your passwords and security questions! We have you covered from aardvark-wrinkle-list-boundary to zipper.sash.hideaway.vendee.

== More on Apple Watch ==
Bringing new items into your home can be hard. Adding new items to your Apple Watch is easy. Thanks to your feedback, you can now access Passport, Wireless Router, Drivers License, Social Security Number, and Bank Account items from your wrist. When you’re done looking at your items, lock 1Password using Force Touch.

== In your favorite apps ==
All of this remodeling hasn’t changed one of the best things about 1Password for iOS: the ability to log in to participating apps! We recently made big improvements to our extension. Now, it’s a breeze to fill in credit card information and addresses. If your favorite apps don’t offer 1Password support, let their developers know it only takes a few minutes to join the ranks of eBay and Dropbox in making your life more secure and a little easier.

== Diceware support ==

== We Love You ==
We value your workflow too much to prompt you for a review. If you feel generous or have a couple of minutes, please take some time to leave a rating and review on the App Store. It makes a huge difference to us. Thank you in advance!

What's New in Version 5.5
== Staying secure in the sun ==
The days are long, the weather is warm, and in between the barbeques, pool parties, bonfires, and toasted marshmallows we’ve also put together a great update to your favorite security app. Join us in slapping on some sunscreen while we bask in the glow of this shiny new release, just for you! Oh, and if you’re in the southern hemisphere, consider this release a ray of sunshine to warm you.

== TL;DR ==
- You can now switch between vaults with two quick taps using our new vault switcher.
- Access Touch ID after canceling it with a handy new button on the Master Password screen.
- By popular demand, Credit Card items added to Apple Watch now include PIN codes.
- The main 1Password app and extension now share unlock settings: unlock once and you’re good to go!
- We’ve added a new and improved HTTP warning system to 1Browser, our built in web browser.

== Vault Switching ==
Accessing multiple vaults in 1Password just got a whole lot simpler! Just tap the icon in the upper left corner of the Favorites, Categories, or Organize tabs and pick the vault you’d like to switch to. We suggest you use all the time you save to celebrate with a nice cool ice cream cone (have an extra scoop for us!).

== Apple Watch ==
For those of you using Apple Watch to help you reach your next cookout on time, a happy day has dawned - your credit card entries will now display PIN codes. We also improved the way Apple Watch displays text and sprayed a couple of pesky bugs trying to impede your fun in the sun.

== Touch ID ==
It can be hard to use Touch ID when your fingers are covered in sunscreen. That’ll no longer be a problem when using the 1Password app extension, which will respect the lock timeouts you’ve set in the app. If you unlock 1Password using Touch ID, the main app will remember as long as you haven’t reached your lock timeout the next time you launch it.

Additionally, if you tap “Cancel” when you’re asked to provide your fingerprint to unlock your vault, you’ll have the option of bringing the Touch ID prompt back again. We call that a win!

== HTTP Warning ==
If you try to enter your username and password on an unsecured (HTTP) site when the URL you’ve saved is for a secure (HTTPS) site, 1Password will let you know. Extra security for extra peace of mind.

We’ve also made improvements to Large Type, updated translations, and more! To view the full changelog, check out app-updates.agilebits.com.

- Fixed an issue where there was no way to exit the add-to-folder functionality on iPad.
- Item sort order is now consistent between Categories and Folders.

What's New in Version 5.4.2
We’ve been hearing so much wonderful feedback from all of you about our new Apple Watch app; thank you for that! We’re already hard at work making improvements based on your thoughts. This minor update to 1Password contains a number of fixes, including one for that “Fatal Database Error” that a number of you were seeing after using 1Password on your Apple Watch.

== Improved ==
- The password text field no longer gets cleared out when editing an existing password.
- 1Password should now launch much faster.
- All the titles in the item detail view now display as lowercase.
- Error messages that may appear during Wi-Fi syncing are much improved.
- Updated with the latest internationalizations from our incredible translation team.

== Fixed ==
- Fixed a problem where you could be presented with a "Fatal Database Error" message after using 1Password for Apple Watch.
- The share sheet had some items go missing as of iOS 8.3. We found them and put them back where they belong.
- Tapping on URLs that contained # characters would result in a malformed URL being opened. This is no longer the case.
- Typing quickly in the search field will no longer overwrite your search term.
- The Message Center now keeps all messages marked as read between launches if you tap the "Mark as Read" button.
- Fixed a crash that could occur during Dropbox syncing.

- Fixed a problem where Wi-Fi syncing would stop working and display error code 7027.
- Fixed an issue where location services were not available in 1Browser.
- Fixed a crash that could occur while switching vaults.

What's New in Version 5.4.1
Hello, true believers! This update contains a couple of important changes to our Apple Watch app that you should be aware of:

1) Enabling the Apple Watch setting in 1Password now requires that you have a device passcode set. If you launch 1Password 5.4.1 on a device without a passcode it will disable the Apple Watch setting.
2) You now have the ability to set a PIN code for use in 1Password for Apple Watch. This PIN code will be used to provide an additional level of protection for the information available on your wrist.

We hope you are one of the lucky ones receiving a shiny new Apple Watch this Friday and that you enjoy this new addition to the 1Password family. Now on to the rest of the changes in 5.4.1:

== New ==
- The 1Password Extension now sends one-time passwords to third party apps, if available.

== Improved ==
- Updated to the latest and greatest 1Password Brain for filling logins, credit cards, and identities into supported web browsers.
- The keyboard is now properly dismissed in 1Browser when the focus is on the search bar and the web page is scrolled.

== Fixed ==
- Fixed a crash in the 1Password Extension after tapping the "New Login" button on the authentication web view in Twitterrific.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when adding a new folder to the Organize list.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when deleting an item.
- Fixed a crash that could occur if the connected Dropbox account had its 1Password access revoked.

What's New in Version 5.4
== TL;DR (Yes, we heard you) ==

â—† 1Password for Apple Watch!
â—† Message Center badge can now be disabled.
â—† 1Password now remembers whether you were viewing Favorites or Categories when you close the app.
â—† Web filling fixes and improvements

== 1Password 5.4 for iOS, the 'Go Go Gadget Watch!` Edition ==

Sometimes, it’s the little things that are really exciting. There’s not a lot of big changes in this release, but some sweet refinements to existing features (like the Message Center and 1Password’s Brain) and one lovely little addition for our Pro users: an item detail that lets you ‘Add to Apple Watch.’

â—† Go Go Gadget Watch!

Need that security code to open your garage door, stat? Calling for emergency pizza and need to provide your credit card number? Access all those details on your wrist so you can solve crimes and save your uncle just like Penny.

If you've got the Pro features, enable the Apple Watch setting in 1Password and you'll notice a handy little 'Add to Apple Watch' option in your item's details. Tap to make this item more accessible than ever before!

â—† Message Center: Stealth Mode

Message Center was one of the most talked about features in our 5.3 update. Based on your feedback, we've refined this new feature by adding a 'Mark as Read' button in the messages list, and an option to turn off the badge icon right from the Message Center screen. We hope you'll love the tips and content we plan to provide here, but this option ensures that power users aren't too distracted by the alert.

â—† Pick Up Where You Left Off

Ever feel like you’re lost when you open up 1Password? 1Password now remembers the tab you were viewing when you left the app so you return to familiar surroundings.

What's New in Version 5.2.1
Thank you to all of our amazing customers for the incredible feedback on our 5.2 release. We would have had this update out sooner, but as it turns out all the cold weather here in the Northeast froze our Internet pipes almost solid. Who knew?

- We fixed an issue where the same one-time password could be generated for different logins.
- We’ve restored the ability to select and copy individual words in a secure note. Thank you for all the vocal feedback on this one! Keep an eye out for a few more notes-related fixes in this update as well.
- Creating a new login no longer requires you to enter a website before it allows you to save. (This one drove some of us crazy, too).
- We also found and fixed a problem where, when syncing with Dropbox, 1Password would create unnecessary sync conflicts. If you are using 1Password for Windows make sure you update to version 4.2 there as well since these two versions don’t like to be kept apart.
- We believe we fixed an extremely rare bug where, if you clicked the home button right after launching 1Password, and the Touch ID prompt appeared over the springboard, and you authenticated against that Touch ID prompt, that 1Password could open up in an unlocked state.
- We fixed an issue where top sites with valid URL names would cause logins to be created with incorrect URLs.
- The item detail view is no longer tucked up under the navigation bar in the 1Password Extension.
- We knocked down a couple of crashers that were lurking here and there.

1Password never prompts you for a review. We value your workflow too much to interrupt it. If you feel generous and have a couple of minutes, please leave a review. The warmth it would generate in our hearts is exactly what we need to get through these last few weeks of winter. Thank you in advance!

What's New in Version 5.1.2
Thank you to all of our wonderful customers for reaching out and helping us track down a few crucial fixes we missed for version 5.1.1. Can you believe we found them in the couch cushions? It’s always the last place you look, right?

- We discovered a case where sync was being silently disabled while still appearing to be enabled. We’ve fixed that problem now, but if you check your sync settings and find that 1Password last synced days ago you may have been bitten by this bug. Please disable syncing and re-enable it if that’s the case. We’re terribly sorry for the trouble here.
- Saving a new secure note no longer results in being stuck at that secure note.
- We believe we have fixed a problem where 1Password would prompt you for your Master Password after entering your PIN code or using Touch ID. We weren't able to reproduce this one in house, but we're pretty sure we got it.
- We fixed our number one top crasher from version 5.1.1.

What's New in Version 5.1.1
Did you catch the awesome 1Password shout out during the Apple keynote on the 16th? If so, this release includes the Touch ID lock screen you saw on screen as well as a number of other fixes and improvements.

- The lock on the lock screen now moves out of the way of the Touch ID prompt so you can enjoy our beautiful design work _and_ Touch ID at the same time, just like Craig did on stage.
- Speaking of our lock screen, it was starting to feel a tad sluggish, so we gave it a few shots of espresso and it pepped right up.
- We noticed that the keyboard was making it impossible to see everything when editing an item so we fixed that.
- We also fixed up a problem where folder contents weren’t being synced properly via iCloud.
- Did you notice how 1Password had a tendency to dismiss what you were working on when you left the app? That annoyed the tar out of us so we made sure to exorcise that demon with this release.
- Many more fixes for the most popular issues and crashes.

- The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are out. Were you one of the lucky millions who got one already? 1Password 5.1 has been updated to give you a beautiful experience on these new devices with 3x images and improved rich icons.

- Touch ID and the PIN Code have been significantly improved. The Auto-Lock timeout will now function across both the Master Password and Touch ID/PIN Code, removing the confusion the separate settings caused. The iOS Keychain will be used to store the Master Password when Touch ID/PIN Code is enabled, allowing Touch ID/PIN Code to be used reliably in the 1Password Extension. Configure what works best for you in Settings->Security.

- Tag you're it. You can now add brand new tags to your items.

- Custom keyboard preference. Choose to enable or disable 3rd party custom keyboards within the Advanced Settings.

What's New in Version 4.5.1
What's New in 4.5.1

â—† Now using the network activity indicator to show when sync is occurring
â—† Improved conflict resolution during syncing
â—† Updated translations
â—† Other bug fixes and improvements

1Password never prompts you for a review. We value your workflow too much to interrupt it. If you feel generous and have a couple of minutes, please leave a review. It makes a huge difference to us. Don't forget, you can leave a review for each update :-)

What’s New in 4.5

Our biggest update ever! There are things that go bump in the night, like password reuse and the internet’s Heartbleed bug. The vastly redesigned 1Password for iOS is the thing that bumps back.

1Password - The Reimagined Edition

â—† This ain’t just a new paint job and an air freshener. We rebuilt 1Password for speed and productivity, adding some of our best and most-requested features - all as a free update to existing version 4 owners
â—† Note: iOS apps don’t actually support air fresheners (yet?)
â—† By very, very popular demand, Search is now always accessible at the top of the Categories tab and each main category
â—† AirDrop - Share items more conveniently, face-to-face
â—† Our sharing menu is now a good iOS 7 citizen
â—† iPhone item details for viewing and editing items are now 75-90% more viewtiful and edible. Wait, editable. Yeah
â—† Nothing says “reimagined” like a brand new app icon

Multiple Vaults & Sharing

â—† If you create multiple vaults with 1Password 4 for Mac or Windows, you can now add them to 1Password for iOS and switch between them in Settings. Great for securely sharing items with team members or family, or simply for your own organization!
â—† Demo Mode is dead, long live the new Demo Vault - We moved our popular Demo Mode feature to Settings > Vaults. You can add the demo vault to demonstrate 1Password without revealing your personal information
â—† Multiple Dropbox accounts - Have more than one Dropbox account? Great! You can now sync vaults that are shared from different accounts

1Browser is better than ever

Our built-in browser is faster and more powerful, making it easier to login, checkout, and fill forms with a single tap.

â—† One AutoFill to rule them all - Logins, Identities, and Credit Cards are all in the same list in 1Browser, similar to 1Password mini on the Mac!
â—† 1Browser now prompts you to open non-http and non-https URLs, such as FaceTime call links
â—† Swipe it to the left, swipe it to the right. *Ahem*, to go back and forward in 1Browser, that is
â—† The 1Browser tab view got a facelift
â—† Awesome Circular Progress Indicator in 1Browser - For your page loading pleasure

Keep It Together

â—† Now supporting custom item icons added via 1Password 4 for Mac
â—† Improvements and bug fixes in Wi-Fi sync
â—† We made your data file much smaller, which makes sync much faster

Get Organized

â—† The Folders tab on iPhone is now called 'Organize’ because...
â—† Tags join the party - Tags you add in 1Password for Mac and Windows now appear next to your folders on iOS! Tag on

Localization

â—† Si vostè està llegint aquest missatge, significa 1Password ha estat traduïda al català! (localization for our Catalan customers!)
â—† Speaking of which, you can now change 1Password’s language settings within the app

Miscellaneous

â—† New-user setup process is new - It's even easier to get started with 1Password
â—† Upgrading from 1Password 3 for iOS? The import process is much improved!
â—† 1Password is now 34% smaller - if you’ve been short 8.6MB of space on your device, we got you covered!
